Can My Daughter Be On A Team With Her Friend?

We are willing to take requests for girls to be on the same team due to carpooling, proximity, etc.  However, if the girls are at two different skill levels, both girls will be placed on the "weaker" team.

For example, if your daughter, who is an experienced player or "A" Team material, requests to play with someone who is beginner player, or someone who would fit better on on a "B" Team, both girls will be put on the "B" Team.

In order for there to be an official request considered, both sets of girls/parents need to agree on the arrangement.

What Do You Need To Register?

In order for your Pittsburgh Magic registration to be complete, you need to have turned in:

  • Copy of Girl's OVR Registration Card (Must Be Registered For the Full Season - Not Just Tryouts)

    • This registration is completed on the Ohio Valley Region (OVR) website. When the registration is completed, they will email you a copy of the OVR Registration Card, which should be printed and given to your coach at practice. Note: Pittsburgh Magic plays in the OVR (not Keystone) so Keystone membership cards will NOT be accepted.

  • Copy of Medical Release Form

    • This form is found on both the OVR website & the Pittsburgh Magic page under the "Handouts" tab. Print this form & complete it in its entirety. The coaches will carry these forms with them throughout the season in case of a medical emergency or injury.

  • Copy of the Pittsburgh Magic 2018-2019 Contract (3 Pages)

    • This contract must be filled out completely with both player & parent signatures.

  • Copy of Girl's Birth Certificate

    • These enable the club to provide proof of age for any player who is questioned.
